Pat-labor Robot at Toyosu, Tokyo Bay
Aside from the life-sized Gundam robot that is already standing strong in Odaiba, Patlabor is on it's way for an act as a promo for an upcoming film adaptation.
On March 17th the life-size Type-98 AV Ingram arrived at the Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu, near to Tokyo Bay.
The Patlabor robot was used before in the forth coming film, which is the first chapter of the new mobile police patlabor series. The robot prop was used by police to patrol for crime. This said robot, stands 8 meters tall.
The first half of the mammoth The Next Generation Patlabor series will be released on April 5th in Japan, with the other six films’ release dates staggered over 2014 and 2015. Its stars Erina Mano, and the series is supervised and written by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell).
